The Battle of Warsaw refers to the decisive Polish victory in 1920 during the Polish–Soviet War. Poland, on the verge of total defeat, repulsed and defeated the Red Army. The Poles called their victory, the "Cud nad Wisłą" or “Miracle on the Vistula.”
This painting is dedicated to the people killed in this long war.
